In the International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ) Long form, the patient is asked separate questions on walking in three domainsat work, for transport, and in leisure time. Calculation for walking physical activity for the long and short IPAQ forms: Short form: Walking MET-minutes/week = 3.3 * walking minutes/day * walking days/week Long form: Walking MET-minutes/week = 3.3 * walking minutes/day (at work+for transport+in leisure) * walking days/week (at work+for transport+in leisure) For the IPAQ, walking is considered a moderate-intensity activity.
