This assay detects but does not differentiate between the three HNP peptides. The Synovasure Lateral flow test utilizes the same anti-microbial peptide as the ELISA test to detect the immune response to infection, but the Lateral Flow returns results in 10 minute whereas the ELISA typically has a 24-48 hour result turnaround.
